Michael Murphy is an extraordinary music instructor. He has a grasp of musical theory unlike any instructors we have encountered, and we have encountered many!  He listens carefully to his student's musical interests, and finds ways to teach within those parameters, to keep the lessons relevant and meaningful.  He selects his students very carefully, and thus, holds them to an exceptionally high bar; be prepared to work hard, because you WILL see the results!  I cannot say enough about his integrity, creativity, demeanor, musical excellence and his magnificent, extraordinary piano musicianship.  He is a one-of -a-kind, and we are fortunate beyond measure to have found him in our path.
